Hopefully you have all heard that
SPOCC 7 has been released, to much celebration in the SPOCC team here at OCC, so I can finally take a moment to wish you all a happy 2009 and tell you a little about what we're going to be up to over the next couple of months.
January has already seen the launch of SPOCC and SPOCC.Net 7, after a month's beta testing at Durham, Greenwich and Portsmouth, and we'll be hosting a
"What's new in SPOCC 7?" demonstration day here at OCC on the 21st. If you're not able to attend, we have been creating demo videos of the key new features, which we'll put up here on SPOCC Social shortly after the event so everyone can keep up to date with the changes.
OCC will also be attending the
National Conference on the Future Delivery of Housing Support in London on the 19th, so if any of you will be going, be sure to keep and eye out for us and come over for a chat!
Early in February we'll be holding the annual SPOCC Lead Officers Meeting in
Manchester and
Oxford (on the 3rd and 4th respectively) to discuss the future of SP and SPOCC 8 as well as having a look at the latest developments in SPOCC and SP-Bench.
With this in mind, we are already hard at work on planning for SPOCC 8 and the next release of SP-Bench, which will include reporting on Client Outcomes as well as many other useful new features.
I look forward to seeing many of you over January and February and please, if you have any feedback or suggestions, feel free to post them here on SPOCC Social, or pass them to the SPOCC team when you see us next!
