Doesn't the "Services without PIs" report do what you want? You can specify From and To dates as parameters so if you entered the start and end dates of the quarter you were interested in would this not get the information you need?

SQL Server 2000 Support Will End in April 2009

Shortly after this blog entry we will be posting a hard copy of this letter. It is being sent out to SP Lead Officers (which asks them to forward onto the I.T person in charge of SPOCC at your LA) and explains why OCC are dropping support for SQL Server 2000.
