SP-Bench: Now with Outcomes Data

I am pleased to announce the launch of version 2 of SP-Bench, our web benchmarking service for SP teams throughout the UK. The main enhancement is that version 2 allows you to benchmark the Outcomes data of your services. Compare your services to like ones from across the UK, find where they are not achieving the outcomes they should, and discover the reasons why.

To begin, simply upload your unaltered long or short term outcomes Excel file on the… Continue

SPOCC in 2009

Hopefully you have all heard that SPOCC 7 has been released, to much celebration in the SPOCC team here at OCC, so I can finally take a moment to wish you all a happy 2009 and tell you a little about what we're going to be up to over the next couple of months.

January has already seen the launch of SPOCC and SPOCC.Net 7, after a month's beta testing at Durham, Greenwich and Portsmouth, and we'll be hosting a… Continue

SPOCC 7 LA tests and SPOCC 8 workshops

This week we released SPOCC 7 to the three LAs that have volunteered to test the new version before its final release to the rest of the community next month. Along with the testing we do throughout the year, the whole team has spent the last three weeks testing, tweaking and documenting the new features, and we're looking forward to the feedback of the SPOCC 7 pioneers once their tests are completed early in the new year.

In the meantime, we are putting the finishing touches to outcomes suppor… Continue

SPOCC Social now has events!

As you can see from the new "Events" tab at the top of every page, SPOCC Social now has an events calendar that we will be using to display the SPOCC training courses that we run here at OCC.

But the events page is not just for us to tell you things, you can add your own events to it and even use SPOCC Social as a way to invite attendees to your event - be it a workshop, group/consortium discussion, or a training day that you have organised for o… Continue

I have just updated SP-Bench to support the latest CHR Outcomes file formats (for 2009/2010) so the latest files will upload without a problem. We're currently in touch with the CHR trying to get information on the format of the long term files a...

Hi Richard, I assume you mean a provider is using SPOCC.Net to download a PDI file? If so, I'm not sure if I can offer any help as I tried downloading a PDI file on my test system and it worked just fine. If this is a persistant problem then plea...

Thanks for letting us know Dawn, I'll get in touch with the CHR to find out exactly what they have changed. It'd be useful if you could send over your latest file(s) too if that's ok, using SP-Bench's file transfer page. Well get this fixed and r...

Luke. As the admin for SPOCC Social, could I ask a little favour of you please? I have tried to add a gadget on my profile page and I think I did it wrongly. Now I am unable to access my profile page. I tried adding the OpenSocial Universal chat gadget.

Could you see if you could remove the offending gadget from my profile please?

Cheers

Mike Ricard
