I am (in our Test system at present) trying to get our HIA PI data into SPOCC and make sure that we can do this quarterly in the future.
I have the Workbooks submitted by our HIA Provider (they apparently come out of the Foundations System?). I appear to be having two separate problems with the work books and am wondering whether anyone else is managing to get the dat into SPOCC from them.
The problems.......
If I have the workbook sent by email and seaved onto our system and attempt to import the workbook using the Import/Export function it only wants to accept it if all the checks in the control page are marked as comlpeted which will only ever be in quarter 4.
If I try to use SPOCC.net (as a provider in our test system) to upload the PI I am given a message stating that "Your workbook (filepath) cannot be imported into SPOCC for the following reasons:
The workbook does not contain the Service ID, Financial Year and Quarter" - but it does.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Dawn
We in East Sussex have the same problem. As we only have 4 HIAs we print off the workbook and input the data manually. If you find out how to sort this, can you please let us know. supportingpeople@eastsussex.gov.uk.
I am so glad it is not just me!
We too only have a few so have always dealt with manually but we have just increased the number of contracts that will use these workbooks so hopefully somebody will be able to help both of us
I have been advised that the problems are probably to do with the fact that the work books acts in an accumulative way in that the data in Q1 can chnge when Q2 is submitted.
I still need to get the info into SPOCC as the HIA KPI1 should be included in the extrcta and sent off to CLG
Luke, Colin, anyone - is there anyway this will ever be possible by import or do you think we will bestuck inputting HIA workbooks manually for three quarters a year?

At the request of Dawn, Colin from the support team looked into this, I'll add his comment here as it should help everyone concerned:
You are correct in your comment that in order to be imported all checks need to be Completed. Each page where entries are made in the HIA workbooks there is a heading that reads:-
"All yellow cells must be completed. Enter 0 (zero) where appropriate. If a cell is left blank, it will be assumed that entries are incomplete. To ensure that all cells are completed, it is recommended that zeros should be entered in all cells (by clicking on Zero) before making the actual entries as required." (e.g. if you have only Q1 data then *all* yellow cells for Q2, Q3 and Q4 should contain zeros)
If this instruction is followed correctly the workbook will import without problem.
When workbooks are exported from SPOCC, all yellow cells are pre-populated with zeros; the same is true of workbooks downloaded by Providers via SPOCC.Net. I cannot comment on workbooks that are produced by other systems, although they should contain the same warning text as quoted above.
[Please note that questions regarding bugs in SPOCC must be directed to OCC Support. I post this response here only because it may be useful to a number of LAs. Thankyou.]
