Event Description

As the release of SPOCC 8 grows closer, we are beginning to plan the key new features of SPOCC 9. SP teams around the country have been working hard to find their position within the new landscape of care and support and for SPOCC 9 we would like to focus on the wider role of SP teams.

We would like to invite you to participate in a set of workshops we plan to hold on the 3rd of December 2009. This year we would like the workshops to be a forum for your wishes; a place to discuss what additions and enhancements to our tools you feel would make your work easier. We encourage attendees to bring a short list of their biggest wishes so that the group can discuss and choose their favourites.

Each workshop will be 1 hour 45 minutes long and you can participate in any number of them. The details of the three workshops are below.

SPOCC

10:15am – 12:00pm

SPOCC is used in many different ways and SP teams often adapt its functionality to fit in with the needs of their contracting and payments processes. Are there any ways in which we can make SPOCC fit with your processes better? Have you ever needed SPOCC to do something but found it is difficult to achieve? This is a great opportunity to discuss how you would improve SPOCC in a way that will have real impact on your team’s productivity.

Outcome & Performance Monitoring

1:00pm – 2:45pm

In SPOCC 7 we gave SP teams the ability to create and manage their own PIs. In SPOCC 8 we have added the ability to collect and monitor Outcomes data. With SP-Bench we have provided a powerful tool to analyse and compare services from around the UK. How would you like us to make these tools better for you? How can we best save you time when creating reports or analysing data? SPOCC now has all the data you need – it can do the heavy lifting for you.

SPOCC.Net – interacting with Providers

3:00pm – 4:45pm

Communicating well with Providers is something that can really save you time and effort – SPOCC.Net is built to do just that. How would you like SPOCC.Net to help make interacting with your Providers easier? Do you still need to email or call Providers to ask for information or remind them of a deadline? Perhaps you’d like more information to be available to them to view, update or report on? SPOCC.Net has become an essential tool for many SP teams; we really want to take the strain out of working with your Providers.

You are welcome to arrive early for tea or coffee and a chat at 10:00am if you’d like, and the first workshop will commence at 10:15am and end at 12:00pm when we will break for a buffet lunch – please advise us if you have any special dietary requirements (vegetarian, etc). Our second workshop will commence at 1:00pm and end at 2:45pm when we will have a short break before the third workshop at 3:00pm. We will aim to end at around 4:45pm when we’d be happy to discuss any further ideas you have with us.
